Eucharistic Congress 2012

The diocese of Charlotte is hosting the eighth Eucharistic Congress. The Eucharistic Congress is a gathering of people which aims to:
• Promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church
• Help improve an understanding and celebration of the liturgy
• Draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist
The program of the Congress includes liturgical events, cultural events, catechesis, testimonies, and workshops. The theme of the eighth Eucharistic Congress will be "Behold, the Lamb of God (John 1:29)".
